2016 Year of the Monkey!

~ 2016 Year of the Monkey ~

What's next for the year 2016? Punxsutawney Phil has already enjoyed a peaceful morning outside, unlike every other year where he has immediately went back into his hole for Goundhog Day. That's supposed to be a message that Spring is very near!

For the Chinese New Year, 2016 is the Year of the Monkey.

The Chinese animal zodiac represents the flow of time by using animal symbols. Each year is dedicated to a certain animal that symbolizes important natural esoteric qualities easily found in the world. Its kind of like how multi-colored Christmas lights represent the diversity of joyful colors in the world of persons. That's probably why so many people from all walks of life take some time out of their schedules to think about the significance of the Chinese New Year.

The Monkey in the Chinese zodiac embodies playful yet clever expeditions which can lead to some interesting series of events. This zodiac creature is also associated with joking and humor, more so than any of the other zodiac creatures from the other years. In other words, monkey years are more happy but a happiness which differs from the happy-go-lucky rabbit in that there is less forethought and seriousness in the consequence of the zodiac monkey.

A good year to progress in happy, humorous friendships and build lighthearted memories with both new and old acquantances. A good year for social contacts and the social sphere, since the monkey is one of the most social creatures of the Chinese zodiac. Brings positive aspects in communities and groups of family or friendships. Don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone this year when it comes to meeting or developing relationships with all kinds of people. Don't fear failure in happiness or social endeavors, as the monkey year is kinder in the social sphere than the more ominous zodiac qualities for it in other zodiac animal years.

Key phrase: Let loose and let go! Feel good, and make someone laugh!

Don't always be Kyo Cat!
