Fighto

Fighto is probably the most common uplifting word in Japan.

People in Japan encourage each other as friends, lovers, colleagues, or coworkers by saying "Faito" (Fighto).

Ganbare/Ganbatte has the same meaning, hang in there or try your best. But when someone tells you "Fighto" it means to fight and do your best.

FIGHTO JAPAN!

Blue Bird by Kokuburo

Read on for English Lyrics

Your love
The Blue Bird that flutters around the blue sky
Can you see that bird?
Happiness is always a colour you can't see
I feel Your Love

Worries only pile up, you look up at the spring sky
Gaze down then lift your head again
Your unmatching bag is still stuffed full messily
Of unnecessary things and precious things
In this town you were determined to find
Things that shouldn't be lost and keep them in your heart

Your love
The Blue Bird that flutters around the blue sky
Can you see that bird?
Happiness is always a colour you can't see
I feel Your Love

Inside the cuffs of the white shirt you gave me
Stitched in white
Is the word "FIGHT"
Even when alone, they give me courage
So why are these tears falling?

Your Love
Because I'm connected to you
I'll trust to the wind and keep on walking
The power of belief
Please give your love to my heart

The Blue Bird that flutters around the blue sky
Can you see that bird?
Happiness is always a colour you can't see
I feel Your Love

I muttered "Love" alone to myself
My feelings are like petals
Lightly carried on a gentle breeze
to your heart

Your love
The Blue Bird that flutters around the blue sky
Can you see that bird?
Happiness is always a colour you can't see
I feel Your Love

Your love flutters around in my heart
That bird must have been you
Even in a sad wind, you still spread your wings
Dissolving into the sky
Wipe away the tears, dry your wings
because we're connected by love

Your Love
